Brock Lesnar’s UFC heavyweight title defense against Shane Carwin was bumped from the UFC 106 card due to what was believed to have been a bad bout with the flu for the champ.
Now, Lesnar has been diagnosed with mononucleosis, and is still unable to get in a full workout.
The fight was going to be moved from the Nov. 21 event in Las Vegas to UFC 108 on Jan. 2 — also in Las Vegas.
Now, that is in question.
“We’re still trying to figure it out and I’m really not sure where any of it stands right now,” UFC president Dana White said.
