This week, Monday By the Numbers celebrates one of the great civic achievements ever in VegasVille, the Guinness World Record for the largest staged drag show.

This groove fest was enacted Sunday morning at Hard Rock Cafe on Paradise Road as part of the monthly Rouge & Booze Drag Brunch hosted by drag performer Kitty Litter (no relation).

I was on hand to “witness” the event as an official official joined by my colleague Mark Adams of Las Vegas Weekly, reporting to the Guinness people to make sure everyone onstage followed the criteria for the record attempt.

Among the requirements: The performers needed to be males dressed as females or females dressed as males, in full costume. The males were to wear makeup, and all participants were to dance in a choreographed number lasting five minutes. That piece was directed by Las Vegas stage performer and choreographer Paul Pratt.

The song chosen was “Let’s Have a Kiki” by Scissor Sisters. Joining Kitty as co-host was Josh Strickland of “Vegas! The Show” at Planet Hollywood, and he also danced with the merry troupe.

Stats from that event, and elsewhere, follow:

61: Official number of performers taking part in the record-setting event.

61: Number of years the Guinness Book of World Records has been published.

55: Previous drag-performance Guinness World Record set at Axis Nightclub in Columbus, Ohio, last July.

10: Number of drag “kings,” women dressed as men, at Hard Rock Cafe who boosted the number to its record-setting total.

2: Number of stewards assigned to count participants and issue wristbands.

2: Number of timekeepers keeping track of the length of the number.

85 percent: Average number of tickets sold at “Vegas! The Show” at Saxe Theater in Miracle Mile Shops at Planet Hollywood, which stars the aforementioned Strickland.

40: Number of horses that landed at McCarran International Airport on Saturday for the 2015 Reem Acra FEI World Cup Dressage Final and Longines FEI World Cup Jumping final set for Thursday through Sunday (with warmups Wednesday) at the Thomas & Mack Center.

$17 million: Total value of those horses.

5,333: Total number of miles those horses covered after departing Schiphol Airport in The Netherlands aboard a Qatar Airways 777-300 ERF chartered flight.

10 hours, 8 minutes: Length of that flight.

6: Number of World Cup jumping finals in Las Vegas.
