This week, Monday By the Numbers opens with a moment caught at the fifth-annual NF Hope Concert at the Venetian’s Sands Showroom. Members of the Paris Las Vegas show “Jersey Boys” were onstage to perform shtick with ex-cast member and NF Hope Foundation Director Jeff Leibow and his wife, Melody.

It was left to “Jersey Boys” performer Graham Fenton to introduce the next act, which was an intrinsically easy assignment considering the next act was his wife, Nicole Kaplan Fenton.

“Please welcome, from ‘Showstoppers’ at Wynn Las Vegas, Miss Nicole Kaplan Fenton,” Fenton said, then caught himself as he walked offstage. “Mrs.! Mrs.!”

“I’ve only had seven years to practice that,” Fenton later tweeted. Kaplan checked in with, “I’m part of the silent auction.”

With that, we dissect “Jersey Boys” on the event of the show’s 3,000th show on the Strip, first at Palazzo (where it opened in May 2008) and, currently, Paris Las Vegas (where it has performed since March 2012). The 3,000th show was formally celebrated Thursday night. Requisitely, cake was served.
