Success breeds pressure in the South Point-lined Play of the Day, which began with $10,000 starting bankrolls.

We’ve hit five bets in a row, all on baseball, and want to see the streak continue.

Toronto Blue Jays minus-105 vs. Tampa Bay Rays: $315 to win $300

Blue Jays starter Aaron Sanchez has been the top pitching prospect in the organization for the last few years. The Barstow, Calif., native is better than the seven hits and three earned runs he gave up against Baltimore last week.

It was a challenging first assignment, having to pitch against one of baseball’s best lineups inside of hitter-friendly Camden Yards. Sanchez should find a home game against the Rays more manageable.

His opposition, Rays starter Chris Archer, was similarly tagged by the Orioles on opening day. The hard-throwing, four-year veteran gave up three earned runs and six hits over five innings.

But the betting market seems to have forgotten that performance, fixating instead on Archer’s dominant one-hit showing against Miami in his last start. Much like Sanchez isn’t as bad as his last start, Archer isn’t as dominant.

Not to mention the Jays have a far better offense and need to win this game to salvage a split of the four-game series. Toronto has scored 13 more runs than Tampa Bay on the season.

Despite both teams sitting at 5-4, the Blue Jays’ run differential is plus-14 to the Rays’ minus-2. Tampa has a pair of one-run wins in the series, but Toronto exploded for a 12-7 victory yesterday.

At a pick’em price, it’s the side to back.

Standings: Keefer (76-71-2, $11,732), Bern (74-66-1, $10,662), Brewer (65-80-3, $1,845)
