Seattle Seahawks minus-3 vs. Pittsburgh Steelers: $550 to win $300

In three of the past four years, Seattle has come into the final third of the regular season fighting for playoff contention. We’ve seen how it goes.

The Seahawks discover their groove and start bopping over opponents. They’re in perfect position to get into the same rhythm this year.

CenturyLink Field is the toughest venue in the NFL, doubly so for a team traveling from the East. Seattle’s home field should be worth more than 3 points alone.

Pittsburgh is a Super Bowl contender with arguably the best offense in the league, but it hasn’t encountered a defense as stiff as Seattle’s this season. The Seahawks rank third in the league in surrendering 5 yards per play.

The improvement in their offense is what solidifies this bet, though. A much-maligned offensive line has improved marginally over the past couple weeks, which is all that was necessary with a technician like Russell Wilson running the offense.

In their past three games, the Seahawks have gained 6.2 yards per play — the third-best rate in the league. Seattle has lost two of three home games, but that’s more of an anomaly than a trend.

The Seahawks won’t lose there again this season.
