“Peepshow” and “Holly’s World” star Holly Madison got into the middle of a Twitter war of words Monday between former boyfriend Hugh Hefner and his ex-fiancee Crystal Harris over the runaway bride’s demand that she now receive possession of their pet cocker spaniel.
When Crystal and Hef split hours before their planned summer wedding, the Playboy mogul kept Charlie, who made the cover photograph, but let Crystal keep a Bentley and a massive engagement ring -- she later sold the jewelry.
Hef told their followers that he wants to keep the dog, but Crystal said otherwise in an E! Entertainment report. Holly fired off: “Why did you voluntarily give the dog to Hef (who loves him, too) after you left, only to ask for him back a few months later?”
Crystal shot her salvo: “I want my dog because I love him. My apologies that you don't understand that concept.” Holly blasted back immediately: “She needs to stop. Hef has 99 problems, and she is definitely one.”
Holly supporters quickly came to her defense with more Twitter messages supporting her and criticizing Crystal. Said Holly: “I believe in sticking up for my friends.” No word yet on the final resolution of this terrier tug-of-war.

Crystal left originally without the dog, so her priorities are set. Hef should have custody of the dog, and perhaps grant Crystal visitation. She is a pretty unstable person. Would love to see Holly and Hef back together as a couple again.
