Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney will attend a victory rally Friday afternoon at the Cox Pavilion at UNLV.

Details about ticketing have not yet been announced, but the rally is scheduled for 2:05 p.m., according to Romney's campaign.

Romney last visited the Las Vegas Valley on Aug. 3, when he spoke in North Las Vegas. His most recent visit to Nevada was Sept. 11 at an event in Reno.

His visit Friday comes on the heels of President Barack Obama’s campaign rally Sept. 12 at the Cashman Center in downtown Las Vegas.

  1. Victory Rally? Isn't that a bit pretentious?? Underdog rally is more like it.

  2. Hmmn, do I REALLY want to go see a loser? Don't think so, especially after they called me an hour ago and asked me to donate $3. What, I said, didn't I just give you 10 MILLION??? Oh, she said, have a nice evening!

  3. A victory rally???

Maybe that "47%" should show up at this "rally" - you know, seniors, disabled adults, single mothers working 2-3 jobs, parents with disabled kids, nursing home residents. This way Romney can see them in person since he wouldn't be caught speaking in front of any of them.

  4. Mr. Romney should ask John Stewart and Stephen Colbert to sponsor his "victory" rally. He's done so, so much for them lately.
