UNLV notable alumni:

• Bill Paulos, principal of Cannery Casino Resorts, graduated from UNLV's hotel college in 1969.

• Cynthia Kiser Murphey, president and chief operating officer of New York-New York, received her bachelor's and master's degrees from UNLV's hotel college in 1980 and 1995, respectively.

• Kenny Mayne, ESPN broadcaster, graduated as part of UNLV's class of 1982 with a bachelor's degree in communications.

• Frank Beckwith, philosopher, graduated from UNLV in 1983 with a bachelor's in philosophy.

• Bill McBeath, former president and CEO of Aria, graduated from UNLV's hotel college in 1987.

• George Maloof, longtime owner of the NBA's Sacramento Kings and former owner of the Palms, graduated as part of UNLV's class of 1988 with a bachelor's degree in hotel administration.

• Scott Sibella, president of the Mirage, graduated as part of UNLV's class of 1988 with a bachelor's degree in hotel administration.

• Paula Eylar, vice president of business and technology at Boyd Gaming, received her bachelor's and MBA from from UNLV in 1989 and 1997, respectively.

• Guy Fieri, Food Network star, graduated from UNLV's class of 1990 with a bachelor's degree in hotel management.

• Greg Anthony, former NBA player and sports broadcaster, graduated from UNLV in 1991.

• Larry Johnson, former NBA player, graduated from UNLV in 1991.

• Stacey Augmon, former NBA player, graduated from UNLV in 1991.

• Randall Cunningham, former NFL football quarterback, played for the Rebels from 1981 to 1984. When he retired after 16 seasons in the NFL, Cunningham returned to UNLV to complete his bachelor's degree in recreation and leisure studies, graduating from UNLV in 2004.

• Ronnie Vannucci, drummer for the Killers, graduated from UNLV in 2011.
