Bank robbed
A U.S. Bank branch inside of a grocery store was robbed this afternoon on North Jones Boulevard near Vegas Drive, according to Metro Police.
Police responded about 12:40 p.m. to the bank, inside the Smith's Food & Drug, 1421 N. Jones Boulevard, Officer Jesse Roybal said.
Patrol and K-9 officers were searching for suspects in the area, he said.
No suspect description was immediately available.
Another U.S. Bank inside of a Smith's was robbed June 16 in Henderson.
