Police are searching for a man who robbed a North Las Vegas bank at gunpoint this afternoon.
The suspect entered the bank in the 2400 block of East Centennial Parkway, near Losee Road, around 1 p.m., handed a clerk a note and flashed his pistol. He fled with an undisclosed amount of cash, North Las Vegas Police Officer Steven Wiese said in a statement.
No one was harmed during the robbery.
Witnesses describe the man as a bald black man about 40 years old, 5-feet-6 inches tall, and about 300 pounds. He wore black shades and sneakers, Wiese said.
The description of the suspect appears to match the description of a suspect involved in a bank robbery on Friday near Craig Road and Jones Boulevard.
The suspect remains at large.
Anyone, with additional information can call North Las Vegas Police at (702) 633-9111 or, to remain anonymous, Crime Stoppers at (702) 385-5555.
