A body was found in an SUV in the east valley today, Metro Police said.
Police were called about 11:40 a.m. to investigate a report of a person possibly sleeping in a vehicle in a commercial area at 23 N. Mojave Road, near East Charleston Boulevard, Officer Larry Hadfield said.
Medical personnel pronounced the person dead at the scene, he said. The person’s age and gender weren’t immediately available.
The incident remains under investigation, Hadfield said.
