One of two suspects is still being sought in connection with an attempted robbery in which four men were shot at a gas station.

Metro Police were called to the Terrible Herbst Garage at 4070 S. Arville St., near West Flamingo Road, at 3:38 p.m. and found three males who had been shot, Lt. Bruce Miyama said.

An investigation revealed that two men were at the center's car wash to get their vehicle detailed. They were standing by their BMW SUV along with the detailer when two males approached them with a gun in an attempt to rob them. One of the three victims had a gun, and multiple shots were exchanged between the two parties, Miyama said.

All three men at the car were hit in the exchange of gunfire. They were transported to University Medical Center with nonlife-threatening injuries.

One of the suspects fled to an apartment complex to the north of the gas station. Officers found him soon after suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. He also was transported to UMC with nonlife-threatening injuries.

The second suspect is still being sought and the incident is still under investigation.
