Assemblywoman and U.S. congressional candidate Michele Fiore has a new campaign fundraising pitch: a 12-month “Second Amendment calendar” with her playing pin-up and clutching assault rifles, shotguns and pistols.

The Republican and gun enthusiast used the calendar, paid for with campaign funds, to pose herself as a defender of gun rights — and to pose herself in photo shoots evoking “Who Framed Roger Rabbit,” Rush Limbaugh and more.

“No one does what I do,” Fiore said about the calendar. “What we’re working towards is getting the message that firearms are used for great things: protecting your family,” she added.

Fiore said she will be asking for $25 donations for the calendar. The money will help fund statewide political efforts, not her congressional run, she said.

Dressed in white gloves and holding a semi-automatic pistol, Fiore’s April pose has her in front of an ornate library, accompanied by text that says “Diamonds aren’t a girls (sic) only best friend.”

The holiday shot for December has Fiore standing with six family members strapped with Berettas and Glocks in front of a Christmas backdrop.

For Halloween, Fiore costumes as Jessica Rabbit, pointing a 9mm pistol at the viewer. “When referring to firearms,” Fiore says in the calendar, “it’s never trick or treat time.”

In the calendar, she quotes historic figures like Abraham Lincoln and Teddy Roosevelt on firearms and spotlights dates in which guns were used in self-defense. April 14, for example, spotlights an incident in 2014: “Texas jewelry store owner shoots and kills burglar with shotgun.” “Attempted intruder shot dead by 17-year-old in Oklahoma” is July 18.
