Authorities have identified a 28-year-old North Las Vegas man killed in a pickup truck crash that injured three other people during what police say may have been a weekend street race on a road northwest of Las Vegas.

The Clark County coroner says James Leon Dailey died of multiple injuries in the early Sunday morning wreck on Corn Creek Road not far from U.S. 95.

Las Vegas police say a 19-year-old male passenger in the 2007 Chevrolet Silverado that Dailey was driving was hospitalized with serious injuries.

Two female passengers, ages 20 and 23, were treated for moderate injuries.

Witnesses told police the Silverado was racing against a white full-sized pickup that left the scene before police arrived.

Police say alcohol may have been a factor in the wreck.
