One of three men who were shot in a south valley gas station's parking lot early Sunday has died, according to Metro Police. The other two men are listed in stable condition at University Medical Center.

Officers responded shortly after midnight to the Maverik Adventure’s First Stop, 10490 Bermuda Road, east of Las Vegas Boulevard South, where they found three men suffering from gunshot wounds, police said. They were all taken to UMC, where the man died. His identity will be released by the Clark County Coroner’s Office.

The three men were inside a parked car at the convenience store when they got into an altercation with two suspects, police said. One of the two men approached the vehicle and started firing rounds inside.

The suspects fled the scene in a dark-colored vehicle, which police said may have been driven by a third person.

Police are searching for two black men in their 20s in connection with the shooting. One of the men is about 5-foot-10, 220 pounds and has a full beard. He was last seen wearing a black shirt and red shorts. The second suspect is about 5-foot-9 and 160 pounds. He was wearing a dark ball cap with a white shirt and faded jeans.

This marks the 84th homicide investigated by Metro Police this year.
