Letters to the Editor:

Column on AG was offensive

Mon, Jul 24, 2017 (2 a.m.)

In your June 20 edition, the Sun published a character-assassination hit piece column by Frank Bruni of the New York Times against Attorney General Jeff Sessions.

Bruni’s column managed a perfect trifecta of gratuitous insults against Attorney General Sessions (already had a “poisoned” reputation) and all Southerners as well as mentally challenged individuals (“a flustered Gump in the headlights”). Bruni could easily have made his points without personally and falsely insulting our attorney general and two separate classes of Americans, Southerners and those suffering from disabilities.

Shame on the Las Vegas Sun for lowering its standards to that level.
