Time is running out to catch Billy Ido’s House of Blues Las Vegas residency.

Fri, Oct 13, 2017 (2 a.m.)

Some of the biggest names in music are all doing Vegas this weekend: headliners Britney Spears, Elton John and Diana Ross are back on the Strip, and Saturday night sees Janet Jackson performing at Mandalay Bay Events Center and Bob Dylan returning to the Chelsea at the Cosmopolitan. And there’s even more music to be found around town in the coming days. Just read on to find your favorite sounds.

WILSON PHILLIPS Daughters of pop royalty Carnie and Wendy Wilson (their dad is the Beach Boys’ Brian Wilson) and Chynna Phillips (her parents and John and Michelle Phillips of the Mamas & the Papas) are pop stars in their own right, thanks to their 10-million-sold debut album in 1990. The trio brings “Hold On,” “Release Me” and “Impulsive” to the Henderson Pavilion’s big anniversary season for a Friday night concert. Oct. 13, info at hendersonpavilion.com.

BILLY IDOL FOREVER From “Rebel Yell” to “White Wedding” to “Dancing With Myself,” Billy Idol has taken audiences through all the hits and then some in his two-year residency at the House of Blues at Mandalay Bay. Now, there are only five shows left: Friday and Saturday, plus October 18, 20 and 21. You may regret it if you miss your Vegas chance to catch the ’80s icon, still sneering after all these years. Oct. 13-14, info at houseofblues.com.

RINGO STARR & HIS ALL-STARR BAND If seeing the friendliest Beatle isn’t enough, consider the current lineup of the All-Starr Band that’s taking the stage at the Planet Hollywood Showroom for this special limited engagement. There’s multi-instrumentalist and producer Todd Rundgren, guitarist and songwriter Steve Lukather, and legendary Santana and Journey keyboardist Greg Rolie, to name a few. This concert series promises to be a rollicking and memorable experience. Oct. 13-14 (and continuing Tuesday, Friday and Saturday through Oct. 28), info at caesars.com.

OMAR SOSA Seven-time Grammy-nominated composer and pianist Omar Sosa brings his Quarteto AfroCubano outfit and a wide array of jazz, world, music, hip-hop and electronic influences to his Latin jazz sound to Myron’s Cabaret Jazz at the Smith Center for a powerful weekend set. Oct. 13-14, info at thesmithcenter.com.

GEORGE CLINTON He’s in James Brown territory when it comes to being an innovator of funk and soul. Parliament-Funkadelic bandleader, songwriter and record producer George Clinton is simply one of the most influential musicians of his generation, and he’s still going strong at age 76. The mothership lands at Silverton’s Veil Pavilion Saturday night. October 14, info at silvertoncasino.com.
