A 59-year-old inmate at the Clark County jail died today after suffering a medical episode, according to Metro Police.
The man, who was arrested Saturday on a misdemeanor DUI count, was taken to University Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead, police said.
There was no officer interaction with the inmate before the medical episode, police said.
The Clark County Coroner’s Office will release the man’s name and his cause of death, police said.
