Citizens of Las Vegas (and by extension, the television-owning world), here is your chance to give back to the city that has given (and taken) so much:
Voting is now open for MTV's first Real World Awards Bash: Roast 'Em And Toast 'Em election, in which you, the informed cable-subscribing populace, have the privilege--and dare I say, duty?--of voting for your favorite season of MTV's soon-to-be-20-year-old ancestor of all reality shows, "The Real World."
Let the caucusing begin: Who better to represent the shame of the nation than Season 12: Las Vegas, "starring" Arissa, Frank, Steven, Irulan, Alton, Brynn and the ever-demure Trishelle, the "seven strangers" who put the 28th floor of the Palms Casino Resort on the map (even if that map was a CDC vector).
The winner (and winners of hottest male/female, best fight, best brush with the law and roommate from hell) will be announced on MTV on March 29.
