That event at the White House tonight is even more bipartisan than initially understood: Democrats are there, too.

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid stopped in with his wife, as did other Democratic leaders.

Looking forward to a full report.

WASHINGTON — Sen. John Ensign has dinner plans tonight, with Barack Obama.

The senator is among several Republicans from the House and Senate invited to a social gathering with the new president at the White House.

That new spirit of bipartisanship is really taking hold. Obama had lunch yesterday with Republicans and now tonight's event.

Ensign assured there would be no serious policy or politics this evening, just socializing. Really.
