WASHINGTON — It’s one thing to have your proud mom attend your law school graduation. It’s another for her to give the keynote address.

Democratic Rep. Shelley Berkley will be the keynote speaker Friday morning at UNLV Boyd School of Law’s graduation.

Her eldest son, Max Berkley, is among 142 students earning degrees.

The congresswoman, of course, was student body president as an undergrad at UNLV. She earned her law degree at the University of San Diego School of Law.

Berkley’s other son, Sam Berkley, is an undergraduate at UNLV.
