A stranded couple and their dog who had been missing for 12 days in freezing weather have been found alive by a road crew in a snow-covered area near the Utah-Nevada state line. The Salt Lake Tribune staff reports how the couple's truck was stranded in deep snow, how they survived on little food and how they fashioned snow shoes to get to safety.
