The Environmental Protection Agency has ordered the Sunrise Landfill to permanently clean up the overflowing trash that has characterized the site and been an ongoing problem over the past decade.
The EPA warned against possible rain floods that would send the debris into the Las Vegas Wash, contaminating Las Vegas' drinking water like it had done in 1998.
