Big earthquake looming for Nevada?

Nevada's last big earthquake of 7.0 on the Richter scale hit the state in 1954. But on average, massive quakes that size hit Nevada once every 30 years. So shouldn't the state expect another large one soon?

The Reno Gazette-Journal takes a look at that question and at recent earthquakes in Nevada, including a 6.0 quake Feb. 21 at Wells, which was followed by several smaller quakes in the northeast part of the state.
