US Airways spokesman, Phil Gee, answered back to the April 30 article wherein the Sun reported US Airways was closing its Las Vegas hub.
Gee responded that although some Las Vegas flights would be scaled back, the airline would not be cutting Las Vegas out of its operation entirely. Gee noted that Las Vegas has been a "secondary hub" for US Airways since the company's 2005 merger with America West.
