Last defendant in University of San Diego game-fixing case sentenced

After two years of motions and hearings, after tens of thousands of pages of evidence, after hours of wiretapped phone calls, after eight guilty pleas, the University of San Diego college basketball game-fixing case ended Thursday with the sentencing of bookmaker Richard Garmo to two years in federal prison.
