High School Football Picks: State Semifinals

Tue, Nov 26, 2019 (6:04 p.m.)

A new 4A state high school football champion will be crowned for the first time in 11 years.

That much is certain after Liberty downed Bishop Gorman in the Desert Region final game last week. Now comes the hard part — figuring out which team will fill the void and win it all.

Ray Brewer and Case Keefer will do their best to end their season-long column picking every high school football game in style and nail the final three games.

Check out their picks for the state semifinals below.

Liberty wins by 30 if game is in Las Vegas; but it’s in Reno, and Pats are tested.

No matter where this game is contested, it's a mismatch.

I don’t see any scenario where Centennial keeps the score close.
Desert Pines 42, Centennial 18

The Jaguars make one more play than the Bulldogs.
