Ex-state treasurer Bob Seale, acting on behalf of Sheldon Adelson, has written letters to local governments demanding how much they are spending to try to kill those Las Vegas Sands-sponsored initiatives on room taxes. He also asks who authorized the expenditures. This could get embarrassing and ugly fast. Read one of the letters at right.
