So says Paul Larsen, Rory Reid's law partner, in a missive to the secretary of state trying to provide a legal rationale for a scheme to circumvent campaign finance laws. Larsen's argument: Because we disclosed the sham PACs, and because each had its own bank account, you can't do anything to us for laundering the money through the faux PACs.
Now it's up to Secretary of State Ross Miller to see if he agrees.
