Sisolak calls for local, state, federal probes of fire union after arbitrator’s decision

Thu, Jan 20, 2011 (5:23 p.m.)

Clark County Commissioner Steve Sisolak, a critic of firefighters gaming the system, has sent letters to local, state and federal law enforcement officials asking them to investigate sick leave abuses outlined in an arbitrator's decision. The union claims the abuse was isolated, but Sisolak has informed the county manager of his desire to audit the sick leave.

I have posted at right a letter the commissioner sent to the FBI (the others to the AG, DA and sheriff are identical) and one he sent to Manager Don Burnette.
