Look for former UNLV basketball player Marcus Lawrence to join former Bishop Gorman High teammate Kashif Watson at the University of Idaho in Moscow, Idaho.
Watson failed to academically qualify to play at San Diego State and has played at two junior colleges the past two seasons.
He averaged 13.3 points, 5.5 rebounds and 2.8 assists at Irvine Valley Community College in 2007-08. Watson recently committed to new Vandals coach Don Verlin.
Lawrence was booted from the UNLV squad in February after a DUI arrest. He will sit out next season as a transfer and will be a junior in 2009-10, when Watson will be a senior.
