Here’s the latest installment of the Play of the Day, which uses odds from the South Point. Our three sports writers started with a $10,000 bankroll — fictional, of course.

Cleveland Cavaliers minus-3 against Miami Heat: $330 to win $300

This is the second straight Cleveland appearance in the Play of the Day. Yesterday, Case Keefer expertly took the Houston Rockets’ at plus-5 in game they outright won.

It was certainly a little disappointing for the Cavs, who were at that point undefeated and could have had a shot at the Summer League championship, whatever that really means. If nothing else, it would have meant a day off today.

Instead Cleveland is back on the Thomas & Mack Center court at 7:30 p.m. for the most anticipated regular season matchup this season. In the Summer League, though, it doesn’t carry nearly that much import. Instead it’s a chance for the summer’s most talked about team to leave on a high note.

In Cleveland’s last two games before the Rockets lost, it won by an average of 10.5 points. As long as the Cavs don’t mess around and let this game linger they should be able to beat the Heat handily.

Standings: Bern (37-25-1, $13,819), Keefer (31-35, $9,146), Brewer (25-36-3, $3,185)
