Illinois State plus-7.5 at Northern Iowa: $330 to win $300
This might just be an attempt at a reverse jinx, but you could also make the case for Illinois State tonight. The 13th-rated Panthers needed a double-digit comeback to pull out a one-point victory at Illinois State two and a half weeks ago.
Northern Iowa has had trouble getting its students to go out of their way to pick up free tickets or for the general public to buy $10 tickets, so the Redbirds aren’t exactly walking into a hostile environment. As a fan, I want UNI to blow them off the court. But as a bettor, this feels like a couple points too much.
