Detroit Lions plus-10 vs. Los Angeles Rams, $440 to win $400:
There are five weeks left in the NFL regular season. Yet, the Rams have already clinched the NFC West Division title. You can argue they are looking ahead to the next month's postseason and simply going through the motions.
When you also consider the Rams are coming off their bye week, and possibly still in break-mode, getting the Lions at plus-10 at home is a worthwhile wager. The Lions haven't been great this season with a 4-7 record, but have three defeats by a combined 10 points. Flip those results and they would be fighting for a playoff spot.
The Rams are one of the best scoring teams in football in averaging 35.4 points per game. They could easily win in blowout fashion. I just don't see it happening. Detroit will use this game to show it is a competitive franchise. And, Lions quarterback Matthew Stafford is still more than capable of thriving in a high-scoring affair. He'll keep the game close.
