Clarence Terry Smith, 52, who worked as an assistant at a Henderson hair salon under the name Gilbert Vaughn, was arrested Friday.
Smith had skipped bail in 1992 in Detroit after being arrested on a charge of possession of 13 ounces of heroin and cocaine, authorities said.
Police found him after an informant from Detroit tipped them off.
