He is survived by his wife, Francine; one daughter, Tambarlee Mercer of San Diego; one sister, Dorie Schrier of Buffalo; and three grandchildren.
Services will be 1 p.m. Saturday in Affordable Cremation and Burial Service, 2457 N. Decatur Blvd. A private burial will follow.
