Police have charged a North Las Vegas man with murder in the death of a man earlier this year.
Milton Durrell Burns, 26, was arrested Thursday in the Jan. 4 murder of 22-year-old Heshima Bennett, who was found shot to death, wrapped in a blanket and thrown in a ditch at Vandenberg Drive and East Craig Road, near Nellis Air Force Base.
Burns was taken into custody at his house at 2408 Arrowhead St., near Carey Avenue and Las Vegas Boulevard North.
