Both exhibits will be on display at the Donna Beam Fine Art Gallery, which is located in the Alta Ham Fine Arts Building on the UNLV campus.
"Meanwhile" by Yek Wong will open Monday and be on display through April 25. It is an exhibit of colorful "lounge" paintings with warped surfaces which glow in the dark.
An opening reception will be held from 6-8 p.m. Monday in the Donna Beam Fine Art Gallery.
Jack Hallburg's "Dear Tori" will run from April 28 through May 2 with an opening reception set for April 28 from 6-8 p.m. in the Donna Beam Fine Art Gallery.
Hallburg's exhibit is comprised of a series of blacklight paintings depicting abstracted images of pop singer Tori Amos in a "Pee-Wee's Playhouse" motif of "whimsical fun for all ages."
Admission to both exhibits is free.
