Police said they are still lacking solid leads in finding the person who shot Trickle on a freeway overpass in February. Trickle remains in a coma from the shooting.
Last week, detectives reported they had located a witness who said she saw a car leaving the desert area where the 25-year-old Trickle was shot. She described the car as a mid-1980s Dodge with a wide, dark stripe on its side.
Police Sgt. Kevin Manning said the lead generated a handful of calls from people who saw a car looking like that, but so far none of the information has led anywhere.
