He is survived by his wife, Mary; two daughters, Marinda Allen of San Diego, and Sandra Dunbar of Las Vegas; three sons, David Eugene Hance of Charlotte, N.C., Michael James Hance of Ceres, Calif., and James Mathew Hance of Las Vegas; and nine grandchildren.
