LV agency part of food program

The City of Las Vegas Department of Parks and Leisure Activities has been chosen as a participation agency for the year-round youth food program sponsored by the U.S. Department of Agriculture.

The selected site is the Rafael Rivera Community Center, 2900 E. Stewart Ave., where breakfast will be served at 9 a.m.; with lunch being served at noon.

Meals will be served weekdays and coincide with the Clark County School District calendar. Meals are provided at no charge to all children 18 and younger. Those 5 and younger must be accompanied by an adult or older sibling.
