Atkinson Gates had planned to announce the details Friday, but now says she will do so next week.
She met with officials of Las Vegas, North Las Vegas, Henderson and Boulder City to discuss the project, calling the meeting a great start. She said the various governmental agencies want to present a united front to the Legislature in seeking funding.
The county faces billions of dollars in infrastructure needs, ranging from schools to transportation to water.
