He is survived by his wife, Ethel; two daughters, Sheila Marcus and Phyllis Rose, and one son, Wade Nichols Jr., all of Las Vegas; his father, Johnny L. Nichols Sr., and two brothers, Ray Nichols and Johnny Nichols Jr., all of Newport; three sisters, Bessie May Centers of Akron, Ohio, and Margaret Dorsey and Dorothy Lewin, both of Newport; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled from 10 a.m.-7 p.m. today in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Services will be 11 a.m. Thursday in Palm Chapel, Main. Graveside services will be 11:30 a.m. Friday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.
