The federal Bureau of Land Management plans two desert plant sales Saturday and March 29, both from 7:30 a.m. until 3 p.m.
This Saturday, the sale is at Lone Mountain Road and Jensen Avenue. On March 29, plants will be sold near Mesquite, about 90 miles northeast of Las Vegas, on Interstate 15.
Several hundred cactuses are available. Plants must be dug up by the buyer and are limited to 10 plants per family. Plants cost $5 and up, depending on size.
