Four local stock car divisions will return to action Saturday night at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway short oval.
The Winston Racing Series late model sportsman cars will be joined by limited late models, street stocks and ministocks. Reserved seats are $12, with adult general admission $9 and children 6-12 admitted for $3. Senior citizens and military personnel get in for half price.
Racing begins at 7 p.m.
The 3/8ths-mile paved oval has received a face lift in recent months, including new grandstands, public address system and improved lighting, both on the track and in the pits.
At 8 a.m. Sunday, the LVMS drag strip will host an open test session and jackpot race.
