Police say Bartley Braham, 43, of Elko shot and killed Valerie Baker, 44, of Las Vegas before killing himself.
Police found the victims dead from gunshot wounds to the head when they responded to the woman's home Saturday evening.
Neighbors said they heard loud arguing and the woman came outside seeking help, then went back inside.
A neighbor who went to help heard gunshots and called police.
Neighbors said the two had been dating for some time.
