Jorge Trujillo, 29, was indicted Wednesday on a charge of attempted murder with the use of a deadly weapon.
Trujillo was arrested at a Sparks home two days after allegedly shooting Trooper Scott Swain during a traffic stop on Aug. 25.
Swain underwent surgery to repair damage to his ankle and was released from Washoe Medical Center two days later.
