George Wesley 'Chas' Curry III

George Wesley "Chas" Curry III, 30, of Las Vegas died Thursday in a local hospital. He was born Nov. 14, 1969, in Pittsburgh. A resident for one year, he was a commercial photographer.

He is survived by his wife, Deborah; his father, George Wesley Curry Jr. of Paterson, N.J.; his mother, Judith Ann Curry, and two sisters, Kimberly Curry and Karen Hines, all of Utica, N.Y.

Affordable Cremation and Burial Service, 2457 N. Decatur Blvd., is handling arrangements.

Elias Hamika

Elias Hamika, 85, of Las Vegas died Friday in a local hospital. He was born Oct. 1, 1914, in Iraq. A resident for three years, he was a carpenter.

He is survived by his wife, Marta; four daughters, Intisar Younis of Las Vegas, Aida Hermiz of Troy, Mich., Nada Hamika of Oklahoma City and Salama Alnajjar of Sterling, Mich.; six sons, Sabah Younis Hamika of El Cajon, Calif., and Falah Hamika, Sam Hamika, Jerry Hamika, Basil Hamika and Naseer Kasto, all of Las Vegas; and 20 grandchildren.

Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St., is handling arrangements.

Margaret Hellman

Margaret Hellman, 96, of Las Vegas died April 27 in a local health care center. She was born June 28, 1903, in Romania. A resident for 50 years, she was a retired hotel culinary worker.

She is survived by two brothers, John Hellman and Marcus Hellman, both of Sparks.

Services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday in Guardian Angel Cathedral, 302 Cathedral Way. Burial will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park. Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave., is handling arrangements.

Vicente Lopez

Vicente Lopez, 89, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. He was born July 26, 1910, in Soham, N.M. A resident for 36 years, he was a custodian for an automotive dealership.

He is survived by three daughters, Ida Valencia and Mary Garcia, both of Flagstaff, Ariz., and Florida Leyva of Las Vegas; one son, Larry Lopez of Las Vegas; one sister, Sophia Villa of New Mexico; two brothers, Jacob Lopez of California and Eufracio Lopez of Kingman, Ariz.; 25 grandchildren, 50 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 3-6 p.m. Tuesday in Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday in Bunkers Chapel. Burial will follow in Eden Vale Memorial Park.

Anna Marie Luongo

Anna Marie Luongo, 74, of Missoula, Mont., died March 9 in Stevensville, Mont. She was born March 18, 1925, in South Milwaukee. A former resident of Las Vegas for 25 years, she was a waitress at McCarran International Airport for 20 years and a hospital gift shop volunteer.

She is survived by two daughters, Christine Parrington of Stevensville and Vicki Haas of Las Vegas; one sister, Mary Frances Huber of Las Vegas; one brother, Joseph Stearns of Belfast, Maine; and two granddaughters.

No local services were scheduled. Daly-Loch Memorial Chapel, Hamilton, Mont., handled arrangements.

The family suggests contributions to the donor's favorite charity.

Eugenia Mintari

Eugenia Mintari, 62, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. She was born Aug. 28, 1937, in Texas. A resident for many years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by one daughter, Patricia A. Mintari of Davisburg, Mich.; and two sons, Philip Mintari of Michigan and Robert Mintari of Mauston, Wis.

Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, is handling private arrangements.

Alex Mourlas

Alex Mourlas, 67, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. He was born Feb. 5, 1933, in Chicago. A resident for 20 years, he retired as a Clark County School District custodian after 18 years and was an Army veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Johanna; one son, Mike Mourlas of Las Vegas; two daughters, Evon Thompson of Las Vegas and Michel Church of Laguna Niguel, Calif.; his mother, Constance Mourlas of Oak Park, Ill.; four brothers, George Mourlas of Cicero, Ill., James Mourlas of Arlington Heights, Ill., Gus Mourlas of Chicago and Chris Mourlas of Las Vegas; and one grandchild.

Visitation is scheduled 5-7 p.m. Wednesday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Services will be 10 a.m. Thursday in Palm Chapel, Eastern. Burial will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.

Robert Leroy Reynolds

Robert Leroy Reynolds, 64, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. He was born July 2, 1935, in St. George, Mo. A resident for two years, he was a boiler technician for a paper products company and a Navy veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Carol; one daughter, Terry Greenberg of Las Vegas; one son, Steven Reynolds of Sioux Falls, S.D.; and eight grandchildren.

Orazio Spaccavento

Orazio Spaccavento, 77, of Henderson, died Saturday in Henderson. He was born Feb. 12, 1923, in Hoboken, N.J. A resident for one year, he was a retired warehouse manager for the federal government.

He is survived by four sons, Leo Spaccavento of Henderson, John Spaccavento of East Rutherford, N.J., Joseph Spaccavento of Saddle River, N.J., and Nicholas Spaccavento of Weehawken, N.J.; one daughter, Susan McCue of Paramus, N.J.; one brother, Joseph Spaccavento of Hoboken; and 10 grandchildren.

Yvonne E. Stanley

Yvonne E. Stanley, 81, of North Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. He was born March 12, 1919, in Willshire, Ohio. A resident for 22 years, he was a retired bookkeeper for an insurance company.

He is survived by one daughter, Susan Williams of Las Vegas; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Theodore R. Stewart

Theodore R. Stewart, 32, of Las Vegas died April 30 in Las Vegas. He was born Sept. 6, 1967, in Las Vegas. A lifelong resident, he was disabled.

He is survived by his mother, Shirley Stewart, and two brothers, Richard Ross and Daniel White, all of Las Vegas; three sisters, Angela Ross of North Las Vega and Renita Hicks and Sandy Ross, both of Las Vegas; and his grandmother, Verdia Lawson of Las Vegas.

Visitation is scheduled 9:30-10:30 a.m. Tuesday in Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Services will follow at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Woodlawn Cemetery.

Linda Utley

Linda Utley, 64, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. She was born March 6, 1936, in Jackson, Tenn. A resident for 28 years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by one daughter, Patty Utley Meade, and one son, Michael Roberson, both of Las Vegas; and four grandchildren.

Dick 'Witts' Willetts

Dick "Witts" Willetts, 61, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. He was born Sept. 14, 1938, in Overton. A lifelong resident, he was a retired truck driver.

He is survived by one daughter, Peggy McLaughlin of Reno; two brothers, Douglas Willetts of Las Vegas and Joe Willetts of Palm Desert, Calif.; and two grandchildren.

A memorial service will be 5 p.m. Wednesday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave.
