Clark County residents have until Saturday to register to vote in the Nov. 7 general election.
The deadline also applies to currently registered voters if they have changed their name or wish to switch political party affiliation.
Registration must be done in person at the Election Department at the County Government Center, 500 S. Grand Central Parkway, until 9 tonight and from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday.
Registration will also be available today and Saturday at the Boulevard, Meadows and Galleria malls and Belz Factory Outlet World during regular hours.

Democrat Ed Bernstein, a candidate for U.S. Senate, had planned this morning to drum up voter participation among 18-year-olds by visiting high school seniors at Centennial, Cimarron-Memorial and Durango high schools.
His Republican opponent, John Ensign, also has attempted to interest voting-age teens in the upcoming election during visits to high schools throughout the state.
Separate voter registration drives have also been undertaken to target particular residents, such as racial and ethnic minorities and disabled individuals.
Early voting will run from Oct. 21 Nov. 3 throughout the Las Vegas Valley.
Rivals to face off
Clark County Commission District C candidates Chip Maxfield and Lois Tarkanian have two debates scheduled for next week.
Maxfield, a Republican, and Tarkanian, a Democrat, will face off Tuesday on "POV Vegas," the Sun's television news discussion show, which airs 4:30, 5:30 and 8 p.m. on Las Vegas ONE, Cox cable Channel 39.
The pair also will debate at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, at the Desert Vista Center, 10360B Sun City Blvd., at a event sponsored by the Residents Forum of Sun City Summerlin.
U.S. Senate candidates Ed Bernstein and John Ensign will also discuss issues at the forum.
