Centennial 11, Desert Pines 9: Derek Brundage went 3-for3 with a home run and John Martin and Rob Arata had two hits apiece to lead the Bulldogs.

Silverado 4, Chaparral 1: Ken Clayton had 11 strikeouts and pitched a two-hitter and Mike Welter belted a three-run homer in the Skyhawks win.

Cimarron-Memorial 5, Mojave 0: Matt Wagner struck out 10 batters, Robert Grana went 2-for-3 with three RBIs and Vito Casolari went 2-for-3 with a pair of runs for the Spartans.

Bonanza 12, Western 2: Bonanza got three hits and two RBIs from Austin Hales and four RBIs from Bobby McMurray in the win.

Palo Verde 8, Cheyenne 1: Trevor Ehlers went 1-for-3 with a solo homer in the Panthers' win.

Green Valley 6, Foothill 0: Zeke Parraz hit a three-run homer and Ryan Tabor had a two-hit shutout with seven strikeouts in the Gators' win.

Eldorado 5, Valley 3: Bryan Frank went 2-for-3 with a double and Mike Butte had a home run in the Sundevils' win.

Las Vegas 12, Rancho 10: Chad Poole went 4-for-4 and Trace Grant went 4-for-4 with three RBIs to push the Wildcats over the top.

SOFTBALL

Cimarron-Memorial 10, Mojave 7: Kim Adams knocked in two runs in picked up the win, and Kristen Jasper went 3-for-4 with three RBIs to lift the SPartans.

Centennial 6, Basic 3: The Bulldogs scored five runs in the fifth, highlighted by Maggie Livreri's RBI double, and Amy Sauer had eight strikeouts in the win.

Palo Verde 5, Cheyenne 2: Renee DiPuccio had 12 strikeouts for the Panthers.

Eldorado 5, Valley 0: Brentley Bridgeforth struck out nine and held the Vikings to one hit, while Michelle Walsh went 2-for-3 with three RBIs to support the win.

Las Vegas 11, Rancho 1: Brienna Kinard pitched a one-hitter, and Marsha Rollins went 3-for-4 with three runs and two RBIs in the win.

Green Valley 13, Foothill 1: The Gators posted nine first-inning runs to vault past the Falcons.

Bonanza 14, Western 0: Trisha DeSimone pitched a no-hitter, had nine strikeouts and went 3-for-3 with two RBIs to shut out Western.

Durango 8, Clark 0: Aja Sherman pitched a no-hitter, and Toni Deltoro went 4-for-4 for the Blazers.

Rancho def. Mojave, 15-11, 8-15, 15-11, 15-11: The Rams held off the Rattlers in a non-conference battle.

Chaparral def. Foothill, 15-3, 15-4, 15-4: Cowboys got 12 kills apiece from Brian Payne and Sindre Storvol and 28 assists from Andy Wayerski.

Palo Verde def. Cimarron-Memorial, 14-16, 15-6, 15-11, 10-15, 16-14: Ryan Johnson had 20 kills, Rob Zsiga had six blocks and James Wilkes had 30 assists in a five-set marathon. Ryan Christensen had 42 assists, Jon Salls had 16 kills and 17 blocks and Mark Tew had 21 kills and 11 blocks in the losing cause.
